Nokia devices can now use Boingo to go online

Wi-fi access provider Boingo Wireless has announced that it’s Boingo Wi-fi service is now compatible with a selected range of Nokia mobile communication devices.

Using the Boingo mobile software, the selected Nokia internet tablets and mobile handsets can connect to Boingo’s wireless hotspots spread across the world for a subscription fee of $7.95 per month.

Compatible devices include Nokia’s Linux-based internet tablets and S60 smartphones.

Owners of the compatible Nokia wi-fi devices, can use the service by downloading the Boingo Mobile software, which allows roaming access to a number of Wi-fi hotspots operated by the company across a number of countries.

The software works by identifying Boingo hotspots and then authenticating the devices using it automatically.
